Relics of Restoration

Recycling of Island Waste

Plastics, metals, and other waste, reclaimed from the island and ocean and reborn into jewelry and other products. Every piece tells a story about an island's survival.

A Crisis Hidden in Paradise

Waste on our beaches, along our roads, and in our waters threatens the islands we love. Deep Blue Recycling is here to turn that problem into purpose.

Why Deep Blue

Ocean Clean Up

Every dive, snorkel, or sail begins with the ecosystem. Our plan is to have everyone cleaning the oceans when diving, snorkeling, or just enjoying the water. If you see trash, grab it — whether in the ocean or on the beach. Just pick it up and put it in the trash or a recycle bin.

Molecular Refinement

In our St. Thomas facility we clean and shred plastic into tiny chips that we can melt and mold into almost any structure you can imagine. We melt aluminum cans into bars that can be designed into replica coins, jewelry, boat parts, or cleats for docks.

Relics of Restoration

We design jewelry and art blending refined polymers and ethically sourced metals, creating wearable stories of healing the planet with every piece.

The Alchemy of Recycling

The alchemy of recycling is the transformation of discarded materials into valuable new products, giving them new life. Like ancient alchemists sought to turn ordinary metals into gold, modern recycling gives new life to waste by converting it into useful, beautiful, and sustainable creations that benefit both people and the planet.

Our Dream

Help Us Help The Islands

Deep Blue Recycling is a dream to help take the world's trash and turn it into anything that keeps it from landfills, out of the oceans, and off the sides of roads. We are starting small with jewelry and knick-knacks to get things moving.

The plan is to increase the sizes of things we make and what we can recycle — plastic, metals, wood, glass, and more. The ultimate goal is changing the mentality of islanders to make recycling a habit, and to research using recycling to build amazing structures that can last 100 years plus.
